Kendra Grothmann

Kendra has spent 10+ years in middle/high school education as an English Language Arts/English Language Learner teacher. Kendra brings a rich and diverse background in education, both domestically and internationally. Most recently, she served as a long-term reserve teacher, working with 9th and 10th grade English Language Arts students. Prior to that, she held instructional roles where she taught dual credit ELA/ELL courses to intermediate English proficiency learners, and has also supported students and families through language and cultural barriers during parent/teacher conferences.

Kendra obtained a Bachelor of Science in Social Work from the University of North Dakota in 2013. She received her ESL certification in 2017 and began teaching internationally. Upon her return to the United States, she pursued a teaching license in English Language Arts 2021.

In her free time, Kendra enjoys watching and playing sports, cooking, camping, attending Minnesota sporting events, bird watching, and trying every possible food imaginable.
