Excel High School is accredited by both Cognia and MSA CESS, recognized agencies that uphold the highest standards in education. These accreditations validate that our programs meet or exceed national benchmarks, ensuring our diplomas hold value wherever your academic or career path may take you.

• MSA CESS Accreditation: Excel High School earned its MSA CESS accreditation in 2022, valid through 2029. State and Specialized Approvals

Excel High School is proud to be recognized not only at a national level but also by several key state-specific accrediting bodies. This ensures our students can seamlessly transfer credits, pursue college opportunities, or qualify for government employment across the country.

• Minnesota: Excel High School is an accredited, Minnesota, non-public school. You can find Excel High School’s institution profile listed in the Minnesota Department of Education’s database by clicking here.
• Texas: Excel High School is accredited by the Texas Private School Accreditation Commission (TEPSAC) for grades 6-12. This recognition allows for the transfer of credits to Texas public schools and the recognition of teacher service for salary increments. TEPSAC’s affiliation with the Texas Education Agency ensures the integrity of our programs and the listing of Excel in the Texas School Directory.
• Virginia: Our accreditation is recognized by the Virginia Council for Private Education (VCPE). This approval grants students the ability to transfer credits to public schools, apply for federal or state government jobs, and gain acceptance into Virginia colleges and universities.
• California: Through an articulation agreement with the University of California A-G course program, Excel High School offers over 70 A-G approved courses, recognized for credit transfer to California schools and universities.
• Washington: Excel High School is an approved course provider in the State of Washington, meeting the state’s WAC 392-502 learning requirements.

In addition to these specialized state approvals, Excel High School is registered with the College Board and ACT, with our National School Code (CEEB code) 240707, ensuring students can participate in college entrance exams like the SAT and ACT, as well as FAFSA for financial aid.
