Rachel Bjerstedt

Rachel is a seasoned marketing professional with over 15 years of experience, blending creative vision with strategic execution. She holds a BA in Screenwriting from Metropolitan State University and an MBA in Marketing from the University of Phoenix, equipping her with a unique blend of storytelling expertise and business acumen.
Rachel’s journey in education began as an undergraduate student when she was a tutor for Educational Talent Search, a Minnesota DOE-funded program dedicated to empowering middle and high school students in urban schools. This role not only honed her ability to communicate complex concepts in an accessible way but also ignited her lifelong passion for making learning accessible to all.
An early adopter of online education, Rachel was among the brave few who navigated the screeching symphony of dial-up modems in the early 2000s. Thankfully, DSL wasn’t too far behind, or she might still be waiting for her first webpage to load! Despite the technological hurdles, this experience solidified her belief in the power of technology to democratize education, a belief that has guided her career ever since. Throughout her diverse career, Rachel has excelled in roles that required both creativity and technical expertise, from digital marketing to web development. Her versatility is evident in the many hats she has worn—graphic designer, web developer, content strategist, and more. Central to her approach is a commitment to student-centric storytelling, using the power of narrative to engage, educate, and inspire.
