Automated Parent Notification System

Time has a way of sneaking up on you, so one aspect of EHS that is helpful for working parents is our parent notification system. You can sign up to find out every time your student turns in a piece of work or for weekly course reports. You can customize your notifications for your specific needs, including whether you want to get an email notification or a text.

Immediate Grade Results on Most Work

Most of our students’ work is graded automatically, so if you set up your notifications, you know right away whether your student needs to take advantage of the multiple attempts we give students on their assignments. You can address any issues or provide much needed praise immediately related to your student’s progress.

Well-Rounded Lessons

Our lessons provide a variety of instructional combinations including videos, reading or study guides, or visuals in order to help your students understand the work they’re doing. Their instructors can be reached by email, so any questions your child has can be answered by a subject matter expert. Additionally, we provide an online chat to reach EHS staff members for any questions that need our immediate attention during our office hours.

Academic Success Coaches

Each full-time student also has an Academic Success Coach who you and your student can email with direct questions about their progress. If you’re not sure how to interpret their grades or you’re wondering what they should be focusing on for the next semester or grade level, these professionals are there to walk you through any concerns or important future-planning. Although grades are all up-to-date and posted online for you to check any time at your convenience, the Academic Success Coaches can help you strategize about your student’s next steps or how to improve their performance.
