South Carolina Online High School

Excel High School is an approved provider for the South Carolina Education Scholarship Trust Fund Program. This program offers eligible students – those who attended a South Carolina public school during the previous school year – an opportunity to receive up to $6,000 scholarship funds. Families can use these funds to access flexible education options, including the freedom to choose private school education. Students currently enrolled in a public charter school, home school students (as defined in Sections 59-65-40 [Option 1], 59-65-45 [Option 2], 59-65-47 [Option 3]), and students participating in the Educational Credit for Exceptional Needs Children’s Fund program (as defined in Section 12-6-3790) are not eligible for this scholarship program. If your student qualifies, you can use these funds to access our flexible, self-paced online program designed to help students thrive academically while learning on their own schedule.

Most students who qualify for state-funded tuition are automatically enrolled in our Platinum Tier Tuition Package, which offers the highest level of support at no cost to families. This all-inclusive package covers full tuition and includes both a free laptop or tablet to ensure students are equipped for success in an online learning environment.

With access to all available course options—including Standard, Honors, and Advanced Placement (AP)—students can tailor their learning to fit their goals. Enrollment also includes our top-level ElevatEd Summit program, which goes beyond academics to foster personal growth through guided enrichment in resilience, goal setting, mindset development, and future planning.
